Byrnes Health Education Center will be presenting "In Her Shoes" seminar at the 11:15 breakout session on Sunday, October 2nd at the Women's Show at the York Expo Center.
What is "In Her Shoes"? The seminar seeks to educate adults on bullying prevention and to observe glimpses into our In Her Shoes Program, a unique character education combining media, music and fashion to address female relational aggression. Topics include cyber-bullying, sexting, bullycide and how to rise above difficult social situations encountered in middle school. The program focuses on the importance of empathy and respect and what to do when encountering gossip, exclusion and betrayal. Learn firsthand why so many school districts are providing this program in their middle schools!
